As many of you, i have been looking for a way to purchase and install items from market which are not available in our countries. Tried many different market enabling apps and finally found a way to work it out.
The app I am using is called "MarketAccess" which is available here http://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/android/marketaccess With the app installed (and provider faked of cause) i was able to install free items from the market which are not available in my country/region, but not purchase items! Frustrated, i put on my thinking hat and came up with this silly work around :P
To purchase Items on your mobile
- Install MarketAccess and fake the provider
- Go into Android Market and install a free app
- From your computer visit http://market.android.com (Yes you have to go in from your computer, doesn't work from the phone's browse)
- Search for the app you want to purchase and purchase it :D
Once you have purchased and installed the item from http://market.android.com you should be able to purchase items from your phone's android market as well, but until you do a reboot! If you do a reboot you most probably would have to do all those again.
I have tested this one my phone which is a Nexus S running ICS and a Galaxy S2 running 2.3.7. Let me know in the comments if this works and your device and OS and i'll update this post.
Cheers :)
